Unless you're an artist or a composer and even sometimes then, it's unlikely you are able, as an adult, to allow yourself to become fully absorbed in a creative activity.

Most of us however, have experienced this absorption. A musician described composing to me as like "entering an altered state". She said she felt totally outside of time.

It's rare for the rest of us to permit ourselves this time and experience unless we're losing ourselves in our work (which can be great fun but isn't quite what I'm describing).

When we say "losing ourselves" is that even what we mean about this kind of state or are we actually finding ourselves? Is what we're losing a lack of connection to the demands of the world and it's time "dead"lines?

Do "deadlines" kill our connection to our true selves and end expression of our true potential?

And what happens in an Adults Play Workshop that allows us to abandon deadlines and begin accessing "the now" and all our possibilities?

For the four hours of an Adults Pay Workshop you don't have to be a grown up. You have permission to leave all your adult responsibilities outside. You will even be asked to actually turn off your phone (yes, turn it off, not just mute it!) so that you can allow yourself real freedom from all outside demands.

You won't be expected to do anything, though doing nothing might give you less fun and less of a sense of involvement.

You will be free to sit, watch, explore, express, discover, join in, sense, mess, paint, feel, glue or simply do nothing and no one will judge you whatever you choose to do.

You will be free to just "be"

You will be encouraged to leave your thoughts, worries, projects, family, relationships and work outside the door, even if oyu attend with a partner.

You'll be given experiences that will encourage you to be fully present in your body and in the moment (see the work of Dr Sue Jennings).

You cannot fail but commit to this change and play regularly and you will be transformed!
