More about Brains
It's recently been discovered that one part of the brain can be trained to take over from another.
Currently being devised is a gadget to enable people who've lost their sight to "see" using their tongues!

With just a little training people can learn to interpret messages transmitted as sensation to the surface of their tongues. This enables the sight receptors in their brains to recieve pictures.
I find this incredibly exciting.
Not only is it great news for people who want to be able to see again (though at the moment the gadget isn't portable), it is hard scientific evidence that our brains can grow and learn and transform themselves. Parts of the brain which have been unused or used for something else can learn new tricks.
I have direct experience from working with clients that playing can help people to retrain their brains, in comparatively simple ways, to feel better, to live in the now and not put off living to some future time; or the past. So great news for me too.
